MONTPELIER, VT: This week was busy at the Secretary of State’s Office in Montpelier. All candidates running for statewide office were required to file their petitions with signatures by 5:00PM today. Senator David Zuckerman, running for Lieutenant Governor, delivered his petitions in person early in the afternoon.
“This is the final requirement to get your name on the primary ballot,” said Zuckerman, “so it felt important to deliver them in person. I’m excited to have received almost 1,500 signatures from all corners of Vermont.”
Candidates running for Lieutenant Governor are required to obtain 500 signatures from registered Vermont voters.
